What we offer

We know that boxes need ticking. We know that quality engagement between workers and decision makers generates good health and safety decisions. We know that if we focus on the engagement first the boxes will get ticked later.

The legislation sets a minimum requirement of training (Health and Safety Representatives) HSRs. We build on that through equipping the other half of the employment relationship, i.e. the line managers, team leaders and supervisors. We extend this to equip their work communities through working with:

  • Workers' Health and Safety literacy
  • Senior leaders' Health and Safety literacy 
  • Board of Directors' Health and Safety literacy


WHAT WE DO

Two day government approved workshops for health and safety representatives (HSRs):

Stage 1 – focuses on the value of the HSR role, in particular HSRs working with managers.

Stage 2 – focuses on the process of accident investigation and the contribution of HSRs
to that process - what happened, how did it happen, what are we going to do about it,
how are we going to keep safe?

Stage 3 – focuses on the positive impact of safety and health on productivity and the
participation of HSRs, as well as rehabilitation and return to work for injured workers. 
 

Building Quality Engagement

  • We offer a one day transition workshop for all or any levels in your organisations to
    come to grips with the Health and Safety at Work Act.

  • A one day operational managers workshop focused on managing safety and health in
    the workplace.

  • A one day senior management/board member workshop focused on safety and health leadership.

  • A one day workshop for health and safety committees focused on developing
    committee capacity and capability.

  • 2 hour manager briefings
    1 – focuses on hazard and risk management
    2 – focuses on accident investigation

  • Many of these workshops came about as the result of a specific client request. 
    We love to have the opportunity to tailor workshops around your organisation.
